Im Focus der Sendung steht die Idee, der breiten Zuhörerschaft vom Radio Rüsselsheim, anspruchsvolle und ambitionierte Musik vorzustellen. Rock, Hardrock, Bluesrock, Progressive Rock, Alternative Rock, experimenteller Rock und Metall sind Stil- und Musikrichtungen, die dieser Sendung einen unwiederbringliches Charakter verleihen. Musikalische Virtuosität und Perfektion von bekannten wie auch weniger bekannten Küntlern und Bands bilden den Rahmen dieser Musiksendung ab. Freunde des Jazz(rock) sollen bei Kontrapunkt selbstverständlich auch nicht außer Acht gelassen werden. Die beiden Moderatoren Jurek Zawadzki und Matthias Schubert führen Euch durch das abwechslungreiche Programm.
